About Bluehat

A framed abstract blue and white floral painting leans against a wall on a draped fabric surface, with paint tubes, brushes in a glass jar, and a vase with dried stems nearby in a softly lit studio-like setting.

A love for creating

I’ve loved creating for as long as I can remember.

Growing up, I was always drawing, painting, or making something with my hands. What fascinated me most was experimenting. Trying different materials, using unexpected tools, and discovering new textures has always been my favourite part of the creative process, and it’s still what inspires every collection today.

The story behind the name

Bluehat began in 2025, during a year I spent living in Chicago.

One of the first things I bought after moving there was a blue hat. It might seem like a small thing, but over time it became a symbol of that chapter in my life. A reminder of starting over, embracing the unknown, and having the courage to build something of my own.

When I later decided to share my artwork, the name was already there. Bluehat had become a reminder that the best things often begin with a simple decision to try.

Today, bluehat continues from Denmark with the same curiosity that inspired it from the beginning
